Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using the TeenSide platform. By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. About TeenSide

TeenSide Life Coaching ("TeenSide," "we," "us," or "our") is a virtual coaching platform that connects teens and young adults with trained coaches for personal development, goal-setting, and emotional wellness support. Our services are provided through our website and associated applications (collectively, the "Platform").

TeenSide coaches are not licensed therapists, counselors, or mental health professionals, and the coaching services provided through this Platform are not a substitute for professional mental health treatment. If you or your teen are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

2. Services Covered

These Terms apply to:

• Life coaching session packages

• Life Coach Certification Program enrollment

• Any additional products, services, or programs offered through TeenSide Life Coaching

3. Eligibility & Parental Consent

3.1. Teen Users (Under 18): Use of TeenSide by minors requires the express consent of a parent or legal guardian. By creating a teen account, the parent or guardian confirms they have read and agree to these Terms on behalf of their minor child.

3.2. Parent/Guardian Accounts: Parents or guardians must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

3.3. Coach Accounts: Coaches must be at least 18 years old, complete the TeenSide application process, pass a background check, and comply with all platform requirements before providing any services.

3.4. Minimum Age: Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. TeenSide does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover a user under 13 has created an account, we will delete it promptly.

4. Account Registration

4.1. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your account information updated.

4.2. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

4.3. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account at teensidelifecoaching@gmail.com.

4.4. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

5. Coaching Services & Session Packages

Session Packages & Pricing

TeenSide Life Coaching offers the following session Package options:

1 Session $90.00

4 Sessions $320.00 ($80 per session)

8 Sessions $600.00 ($75 per session)

12 Sessions $840.00 ($70 per session)

Sessions Are

• 30–50 minutes in length

• Conducted virtually via Zoom, unless otherwise specified

• Purchased individually or in packages

• Transferable to different life coaches

Session Usage

• All sessions must be used within 12 months of purchase

• Unused sessions after this period expire and are forfeited

6. Payments & Credits

6.1. Full payment is required at the time of purchase before scheduling sessions. Payments are securely processed through Stripe. TeenSide does not store your payment card information.

6.2. Non-refundable: All session packages are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by applicable law or approved by a TeenSide administrator.

6.3. Promotional Credits (Intro Credits): Credits issued through promotions, coupons, or admin grants may be designated as "intro credits" and may carry additional restrictions, including limitations on which coaches may be booked.

6.4. Session credits do not expire within 12 months of purchase and are non-transferable between accounts.

6.5. No payment plans or partial billing are offered unless explicitly stated.

7. Scheduling, Cancellations & Missed Sessions

• Sessions must be canceled or rescheduled with at least 24 hours' notice

• Cancellations made more than 24 hours before a session: full credit restored to your account

• Cancellations made within 24 hours of a session: the session credit is forfeited unless a waiver is approved by a TeenSide administrator

• Coach cancellations: If a coach cancels for any reason, the session credit is fully restored with no penalty to the client

• Failure to attend a scheduled session without cancellation (no-show) will result in the session credit being forfeited

• Rescheduling is subject to coach availability

8. Refund Policy — Coaching Services

All session packages are non-refundable once purchased. No partial refunds will be issued for unused sessions. Expired or unused sessions will not be credited, refunded, or extended.

Refund requests require administrator approval. To request a refund, contact teensidelifecoaching@gmail.com.

9. Certification Program Refund Policy

Enrollment fees are non-refundable once:

• Access to course materials has been granted, or

• The participant has attended any live portion of the program

10. Late Payments & Failed Charges

• If a payment fails or is declined, access to services may be suspended until payment is completed

• TeenSide reserves the right to cancel services after repeated failed payment attempts

11. Life Coach Payment Structure

For certified coaches working with TeenSide:

• Coaches operate as independent contractors, not employees

• Coaches are compensated per completed paid session

• Typical compensation ranges from $40–$50 per session with potential opportunities for growth and bonuses

• Payouts are processed via Stripe Connect and issued on a recurring biweekly schedule

• Payouts are initiated approximately 1 hour after the completion of each paid session, then batched and transferred on the configured biweekly payout schedule.

Coaches are responsible for managing their own availability, accurately tracking and reporting sessions, and handling all applicable taxes and self-employment obligations. A full independent contractor agreement is provided separately upon certification.

12. Non-Clinical Disclaimer

All services provided through TeenSide are coaching and psychoeducational in nature — not therapy, counseling, or mental health treatment.

TeenSide coaches:

• Do not diagnose or treat mental health conditions

• May recommend referral to licensed professionals when appropriate

• Are required to escalate safety concerns following TeenSide's protocols immediately

13. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws

• Harass, threaten, or harm any other user, coach, or TeenSide employee

• Share, record, or distribute session content without the express consent of all participants

• Impersonate any person or entity

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform

• Use the Platform to engage in commercial activities without our prior written consent

14. Privacy & Confidentiality

Session content is treated as confidential by coaches. Coaches may share session information with TeenSide administration only for safety, compliance, or quality assurance purposes. Please review our Privacy Policy for a full description of how we collect, use, and protect your information.

15. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, and software — is the property of TeenSide or its licensors and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without our express written permission.

16. Disclaimers

THE PLATFORM AND ALL SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TEENSIDE DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS.

COACHING SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH TEENSIDE ARE NOT MEDICAL ADVICE, MENTAL HEALTH TREATMENT, OR A SUBSTITUTE FOR PROFESSIONAL CARE.

17. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TEENSIDE AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO TEENSIDE IN THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

18. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TeenSide and its affiliates, officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

19. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

19.1. These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of laws provisions.

19.2. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.

19.3. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

20. Modifications to Terms

TeenSide reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. For material changes, we will notify registered users by email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
